David Shiyang Liu took a snippet of a talk by Ira Glass for Current.tv and turned it into a video which he published on Vimeo. The talk was about storytelling and the entire talk is worth listening to. But this bit, along with the text David put together to illustrate it, is particularly lovely, and says something I think all aspiring artists should hear over and over. I know I need to hear it again and again anyway.

Turns out that the truth is encouraging, after all.
