Monday report
Unsurprisingly, I lost momentum at the end of last week with the news of the massacre in Connecticut. I send all good wishes to the grieving families, and hope that we as a country find a way to deal better with the troubled people among us, who are surrounded by our vast arsenal of guns.
Nonetheless, I wrote 3608 words, for a total of 27798 on this novel. And best of all, the book remains alive in my writing and I have some sense of where to take it. I floundered for a couple days last week, so this week was a happier experience for me, at least the writing part of it.
Onwards. Once again my goal is to hit a range between 5000 and 6000 words this week.
