ROW80 check-ins back on the website!
Hi folks. I haven’t been writing progress reports because I’d fallen off the blogging wagon since ROW80 moved primarily to Facebook. FB is a useful place but I honestly don’t hang out there much so I’ve been out of touch.
But my work has continued in its own halting way. I’m in the beginning of a new batch of artwork for a gardening game I want to create. In anticipation I’ve been running through tutorials on the Unity game engine and studying pixel art lessons, too.
Now that I have the encouragement of the web site back I’ll post my progress on the usual ROW80 schedule. In the meantime, here’s today’s list of other ROW80 check-ins.
Welcome home!
A gardening game sounds like a lot of fun to create!
Good to have you back (and sorry it took me so long to get the ROW80 blog up and running).
I’m with Shan on the gardening game. Interesting concept. How do you see it being played? Social, competitive, single player?
Hi folks! Thanks for stopping by.
I have no idea how the actual game aspect might work out. I’m still trying to figure out the math behind the basic gardening functions: water, nutrients, soil, weather. All this so I can show pixel art of garden plants :).
